A reminder to all parents that your donation amounts are confidential. Those who need to have access to these details in order to ensure the PTA's technology runs well and that our appropriate accounting checks and balances are in place, are bound by our confidentiality agreement.

Here's an explanation of our confidentiality policy from PTA Board Treasurer Jennifer Stephenson:

The PTA is very sensitive to ensuring individual donation confidentiality.  At the same time, the PTA wants to continue to ensure we have the proper checks and balances in place regarding managing the PTA funds.  Therefore, as our school continues to grow, it is necessary to expand visibility to Immersion Support (IS) donation amounts. 

The PTA Immersion Support Fund Drive Committee has a new fundraising database in place to track and manage our fundraising activities.  Going forward, the PTA Treasurer, PTA IS Board Chair, and the 2 Fundraising Database Administrators will have visibility to the IS Donation Amounts.  The individuals currently in these roles are Jennifer Stephenson, Jennifer Reichert, Ben Shapiro, and Julie Isaacson, respectively.  These individuals have all signed confidentiality agreements stating that donation amounts will not be shared outside of these 4 PTA Board/Committee Positions and will only be used for purposes of managing the IS Fund.  This decision was approved by the PTA Board and presented to the membership at the April 26 PTA General Membership Meeting.
