Summer is under way, but we haven't forgotten what a blast we had at our end of the year Field Day!  

Our field day was not a wash-out despite the rain.  McDonald students had a grand time time in sloshy Wallingford Park as they completed all eight events; the most popular (by casual survey) were the three-legged race, and the balloon toss.  After finishing the events, the kids lined up in an enthusiastic but wet fashion to receive their prize -- a cold popsicle!  

Big thanks to the McDonald staff, the many parent volunteers and, especially, to Wallingford QFC, for their generous donation of 200 popsicles.
