Dan Golosman has worked as an educator since 1992. He started teaching in Seattle Public Schools in 2001. From 2004 to 2007 he worked as a school improvement coach for the non-profit Expeditionary Learning Schools. Since returning to SPS in the fall of 2007, he has worked as an elementary literacy coach, social studies coach, and consulting teacher for the Department of ELL and International Programs.
Dan earned a Master’s Degree in Teaching from Seattle University in 2000, and in 2011 he completed a Master’s Degree in Education and principal certification in the Leadership Development for Educators (LEDE) program at the University of Washington Bothell. He completed his principal internship at John Stanford International School and Aki Kurose Middle School Academy. Dan and his family live in the Hillman City neighborhood in Rainier Valley.
